Oh pretty boy …

No wonder why Japanese boys are sometimes prettier than girls. Here’s the hints. Not mentioning a number of cosmetic for male, last night I saw mascara for man was sold in big supermarket in japan. Come on… Mascara? I though only females use mascara to make their eyelashes look thicken, darken, and more defined, but there is mascara for male!!!

Facility for those who are…

…disabled. In japan, even a man who rides a wheelchair can drive his own car and the have the same right as the normal to park his car in such a special space for disabled. something rare to find in Indonesia …

No bike but byke

I think they put those signs early April this year in this campus and see…one sign and even more signs written incorrectly. it’s written “byke” instead of “bike”. in Japanese “bike” is written 「バイク」but it doesn’t mean in English can be written “byke” right? -yan9n-

translation fails

what is “I go to mexico” in japanese? well, if you learn japanese or know bit of it, then you would answer “watashi wa mekisiko ni ikimasu” or in japanese character it would be like this, “私はメキシコに行きます。”

but you know what, if you use online translator like this web it would be translated as “私は酔っぱらっています”, which means… “I am drunk”.
so, which one is correct? does ”go to mexico” also mean “getting drunk”???

Geisha in Hakata

During this heyday there were over 2,000 registered geisha in Hakata, but now there are only 21, ranging in age from their teens to their 80s. This picture was taken when they participated in the Hakata Dontaku Festival on last May when they performed onshamisen and taiko drums, and sing and dance on stages located in front of hakata za.
